FlexiCapture 12 Release 4 does not allow to setup connection to PostgreSQL database.

Symptoms

  • FlexiCapture 12 Release 4 (build version 12.0.4.678).
  • Database server  - PostgreSQL.
  • The option to choose PostgreSQL database is missing in Administration & Monitoring Console.

Cause

  • The option is missing by default. 

Resolution

In FlexiCapture 12 Release 4 the PostgreSQL is supported officially as a variant of BDMS for database server. Equally, like all other BDMS which are visible in interface of the Administration & Monitoring console (MS SQL, Oracle, Azure).
