Symptoms

On uploading a PDF file to Vantage the processing error occurs:

File XXXXXX is password protected in the document XXXXXX.

Cause

Either the PDF file is restricted with a password or Content Copying is not allowed in the security properties:

Resolution

  • Remove password protection.
  • Allow Content Copying in the security properties.
