Yes, it is possible to modify the existing Application Pools and create new ones so that each Application will have its own Application Pool.

This can be done manually using IIS UI and Microsoft guides on how to do it. However, please take into account the settings set for the existing Application Pools, and set the same ones to the Application Pools created.
