Incorrect deskew of a page in the document processed with FineReader PDF 15

After converting a document in FineReader PDF 15, a page that does not have a skew was incorrectly deskewed.

The cause of the issue may be a picture (an object) located at an angle in the page, and the program deskews a page towards the object and not the text.

To work around the issue, please disable the Deskew images option in the Image preprocessing settings:

  1. Open FineReader PDF 15.
  2. Go to the Tools menu > Options... > Image Processing.
  3. In the Image preprocessing settings click Show Custom Settings > disable the Deskew images option.
  4. Click OK to save changes.
  5. Recognize the document anew.
