Symptoms

Mobile Web Capture hangs/gets stuck when trying to find and capture a document, although manual capture still works.

Cause

For iOS devices, there are different system requirements for Full HD and Ultra HD (4K) capture resolutions. Although some devices are capable of capturing in Ultra HD (4K), it may still be recommended to perform capture in Full HD resolution.

Resolution

To change what resolution should be used for capture, the preferredCameraResolution property can be set to fullHd for the IWebCapture object passed to the capture method.
