Symptoms

During activation of the cloud license, an error appears:

Software license activation is not supported

Cause

Cloud licenses cannot be activated locally. It is activated for a tenant by the ABBYY team.

Resolution

To access ABBYY FlexiCapture Cloud, usually, two licenses are issued — a Cloud License and a Developer’s Package License.

• Cloud License
  This license allows processing documents on ABBYY FlexiCapture Cloud servers. It is activated by the ABBYY team in the backend.
• Developer’s Package License
  This license allows installing the Developer’s Package locally in order to work and configure projects via the Project Setup Station, use the FCAdminTools tool for administering projects from the command line, and create FlexiLayouts in ABBYY FlexiLayout Studio.

Please enter the Developer’s Package License for the activation to complete successfully.
