How to remove highlighting from a text fragment applied in FineReader PDF 15?

Answer

If a document with the highlighted text has not yet been saved in the program, you can undo the applied highlighting by pressing Ctrl+Z on the keyboard or clicking the Undo button on the main toolbar.

In the saved document, to remove the highlighting from text, please follow the steps below:

1. Open the document in the PDF Editor.
2. Right-click the highlighted text > select Delete.
   Or open the COMMENTS pane by clicking the  button on the main toolbar.
   Select the annotation with the highlighting you want to delete and press Delete on the keyboard or right-click the annotation and click Delete on the shortcut menu.
   
3. Save the document.
