Symptoms

The Data Catalog created in Vantage is not accessible in the “By Company” drop-down list in the Activity properties in Advanced Designer.

Cause

To be available in the "By Company" classification activity, the data catalog must be of the "Issuer Company" type as it contains the pre-defined set of columns optimized for company searches.

Resolution

Check the data catalog state and recreate the catalog with the "Issuer Company" type if they currently have different type. After that the catalog should be available in the "By Company" classification activity in Advanced Designer.
