How can we get a long-term token?

Answer

Since Vantage 2.2.1 the API request token will be generated for a maximum of 24 hours, however, it is possible to regenerate it after using the same secret and client Id.
You may specify the expiration date for the secret on the Vantage > Configuration > Add Secret.


This means that there is no need to pass the expiration date in the request body as the maximum "lifetime" for the token is set to 24 hours.
Later this can be used in the API request, allowing you to regenerate it each time Response 401 or 403 is received effectively making it active as long as Secret does not expire.
