Unable to preview the search area when adjusting offset in FlexiLayout.

Cause

A preview of the search area is shown only under certain circumstances.

Resolution

To preview the search area when adjusting the offset, the Reference element must be selected/shown on the document.

• In the elements tree, manually select the element that is being used as the Reference element.
  For example, on the below screenshot, we adjust the offset of the CharacterString element, using the Paragraph element. So, to see the preview area, we need to select Paragraph in the elements tree.
  
• Another method is selecting the All in the below option:
  
  This way all the elements will be shown, thus you will not need to manually select the element from the elements tree.
