OCR ascii

Alt+0124 creates what looks like an upside down apostrophe. This symbol is extracted when using OCR to create a filename from image text instead of a regular apostrophe which may cause problems later. For example a quotation mark is not allowed in a window file name. What can be done to limit the ASCII character set possible in all text extractions in ABBYY? I have limited access to change things on my own I believe but what can I say to an administrator who may have access but is ignorant of these matters and not tech savvy and would need a simple instruction on how to do this? Is there a setting that can be chosen like language?
