Erro ao tentar instalar o finereader standart 16 c:\windows\installer\msi5550.tmp não é um aplicativo win32 válido

Restaurei o meu computador. Quando fui reinstalar o ABBYY como o arquivo que sobreviveu à restauração, apareceu o seguinte erro:

c:\windows\installer\msi5550.tmp não é um aplicativo win32 válido

Excluí o arquivo de instalação que estava no meu computador. Baixei novamente o arquivo de instalação pelo link que me foi enviado por email. Tentei instalar o ABBYY. Apareceu o mesmo erro.

Como resolver?

    Já resolvi. O office não estava instalado. A instação do office permitiu a instalão do ABBBYY
