Abby FineReader Book Scanning issue

Hi everyone, 

 

I've been using Abby Finereader on iOS for a few years to scan books for translation. Recently the book scan feature has not been working as before. Rather than taking a single image, which is then divided into 2 (along the dotted line) after scanning, the scan only produces a single image for each 2 page spread. I have not changed any settings in the app, and I can;t see how to change things back to how they were. 

Does anyone know what might have happened?

    Hello Jon,

    I suppose that you might press DOC mode instead of BOOK on the screen with scanning. Can you check what mode is highlighted in yellow: DOC or BOOK?

    Thank you Victoria. No, BOOK mode is definitely highlighted (see screenshot). but when I process the scan it treats both pages as a single image...

    Hello Jon,

    I have created a support ticket for further investigation as we were not able to reproduce the issue in the version 15.6.1.
