When I create a PDF file from a few Word files, each one with name, the names appear in the PDF files as bookmarks. That is OK, but the bookmarks shows not only name of the Word file, but FULL path of that file, say as C:\My Documents\Folder\Subfolder\File.docx.
I have not found any settings before conversion to remove the FULL path.

Hello!
To avoid creation of bookmarks altogether, go to "More options...", which is right above the "Convert to PDF" button, check the option "Delete objects and data" and select "Bookmarks" there. In FineReader PDF 16 it looks like this:
If you want to keep the bookmarks in the resulting PDF, you can manually delete the paths from the bookmarks with the file names, or delete these specific bookmarks altogether in the PDF Editor.
Unfortunately, these is no option to automatically exclude the full file paths from the bookmarks while keeping the bookmarks themselves when a PDF is being created. I'll pass this as a suggestion to the product development team.
Best regards,
Yuriy
Thanks.
Since I convert say 50 files, avoid creation of bookmarks altogether is not solution and manually delete the path one by one either. Yes, pass this as a suggestion to the product development team.
Best
