I had expected that cropping pages in a PDF using FineReader PDF 15 would reduce the file size, but it does not change. I thought maybe that was because the PDF preserves the original pages so that they can be "uncropped", but that does not appear to be the case. Is there an option I'm missing that would reduce the file size when I crop pages? Thank you.

Hello!
You're right, cropping PDF pages doesn't reduce the size of the PDF file - it only changes the visible, printable and otherwise accessible area of the page. To reduce the file size, use image quality settings and MRC compression option as described in this Help article.
