Activation of FineReader 15 license after computer upgrade

I recently upgraded my computer and intended to install FineReader 15 on the new unit.  Prior to doing this I de-activated the license on the old computer.

Much to my surprise I was unable to activate the license on the new computer.  I reached out to support and the support person claims that the license has been used on separate computers by different users and is marked as invalid.  This is not accurate.  I have proof of purchase and proof of having successfully dealt with support issues with this specific license in the past.

I feel that I am being given the run-around in this case.  I believe that this is in breach my consumer rights and I would like to escalate the ticket/issue to another party within ABBYY.

I am able to provide copies of purchase invoice, initial registration, a record of previous successful interactions with ABBYY support regarding this license, etc.

I would appreciate assistance in either resolvig this issue or contact details of someone that can review the situation.

Many thanks in advance.

I had the exact same issue, but as I needed it ASAP, I paid a year of version 16... to find it is worse than 15. Bigger PDF with same options, and a real mess with page sizes.
