Hi, I work for a disability services office and we are converting a large number of law books from PDF to Word files. One thing we've noticed happens regularly is that if a sentence ends with a period followed by an ellipsis (which happens a lot in law materials because that's how they designate that they're excerpting something and leaving out part of the material) ABBYY converts the 4 consecutive periods to a tab. Is there any way to prevent that from happening? It's causing a lot of extra work on our end because we have to go back and make sure that all the extra tabs that get added are manually changed back to periods.
