Feature request:
We’d like the ability for validation rules in Document Skills to automatically rerun when a field value changes (for example, when updated via a Process Skill) or to provide a programmatic method to trigger the validation rerun.

Pain point / Use case:
Currently, when we receive a vendor number from an API in a custom activity that occurs after the extract activity, updating the field does not trigger the associated data catalog validation rule. This results in the document being routed to a manual review queue, even though the updated value satisfies the rule.

Impact / Desired outcome:
Being able to rerun validation rules on updated field values would prevent unnecessary manual reviews, increase automation throughput, and reduce bottlenecks in processing. Ideally, the rule would automatically re-evaluate when the field changes or could be triggered programmatically from a Process Skill.

Optional:
A simple example:

1. Extract activity populates initial fields.

2. Custom activity calls an API and sets the vendor number.

3. Validation rules automatically rerun with the updated vendor number, clearing any previous validation errors and allowing the document to continue through the automated workflow.
