Did you know that starting from FineReader Server 14 Release 1 Update 10 build 14.0.1.81 you are able to get a report on duplicate files found by audit workflow?

The report is based on the analysis of all files stored in a directory specified in the audit workflow. Now you can collect these statistics:

• When and where the program searched for duplicates;
• Number of duplicates found in the repository;
• File names, file size, dates of creation and modification.

You would need to turn on duplicate search in audit workflow settings:

After that you would need to click Download Report link in the Duplicates section for the selected workflow.

Detecting identical duplicate files would help you optimize your storage.
