HI ,

I am wondering if there is any 64 bit version available for Flexicapture Servers ? currently i am using FC10. 5.1554 and it is 32 bit version , Lately i am facing a problem as i have a one page pdf document sended by the client , The size of the file is 88 KB and the document properties are as follows

Page Size: 26.62 x 22.12 inches with 600 DPI(color )
(if i do some math for sure it will require more than 2 GB of Ram to process)

My Server OS is Windows 2008 R 2 with 8 GB of Ram installed and same amount of virtual memory,

The Error Message i am getting is(some times it works fine)

Not enough memory! "\\xxx\xxx\xxx\xx\x.pdf"

Below id some information i found on Microsoft web site that there are some limitations with X86 based softwares .

User-mode virtual address space for each 32-bit process

2 GB

Up to 3 GB withIMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWAREand 4GT

2 GB withIMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWAREcleared (default)

4 GB withIMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWAREset

Can some one put some light on that ?

    Nayyer!

Most probably the cause of the issue is definitely not the file size. It can be complicated document structure (for example, repeated group in a repeated group), "heavily" designed flexilayout etc. I would like to ask you contacting ABBYY Technical Support of your region http://www.abbyy.com/support/contacts/. When applying a request, please, specify:

    - FlexiCapture 10 exact version (Help → About ABBYY FlexiCapure)
    - your Ainfo report from the Server http://knowledgebase.abbyy.com/article/648
    - the project and the problem document
    - specify when and where you see the error message - at the Verification station when opening the document, during import or export or recognition
    - your FlexiLayout project if you use a flexilyaout as for the Document Definition

Just in case try to restart the PC where you see the error message and try to repeat your steps. Maybe clearing out the RAM will help to process the document

    Nayyer,

That PDF seems somewhat small for a 600DPI image. It isn't by chance a vector pdf is it? How many pages does it have?
