I’m having another problem… ABBYY isn’t exporting the document images. All other functionality is working… data is exporting to the database, but images are not appearing anywhere I’ve tried to send them.
I worked with another SysAdmin who uses ABBYY FlexiCapture, we did a screen-share session. We tried everything he could think of… stripped the file naming template down to simplify (no tags, just a name), changed the export path from UNC style (\\servername\sharename) to a drive letter (D:\Images), etc. We examined and confirmed user permissions (the Processing Station’s service account) on the server's local folder and network share properties– nothing helped, it just isn’t working. The other SysAdmin finally gave up, said he would contemplate it and let me know if he thought of anything. Meanwhile, I’m stuck…
I've contacted our vendor support, left a message... if anyone here can offer advice, is there something obvious I might be missing?
Thanks,
Woody

Hi Woody!
I have rechecked the export of images via Export to DB profile and it works fine. What build do you use (Help → About ABBYY FlexiCapture)? If you set the profile from scratch, will it work or not?
We're using the latest build v10.0.6.1589. I don't know what would happen if I deleted and recreated the db export profile (I believe that's what you meant by "set the profile from scratch")... we're going "live" to Production implementation within a few days, I don't have time to experiment, I'm sorry. The workaround is working, so I'll go with it that way for now. Perhaps later I'll have time to play around with it... I'll post a followup if that happens.
Thanks,
Woody
