Creating a FlexiCapture Project that only has one document definition with no OCR.

I am working on a solution for a client and they would like to be able to scan in a batch of documents, with separator sheets indicating new documents, and then manually key in indexing information. OCR will not be necessary. They would like to be able to do this using ABBYY Web Capture. I have tried multiple things but all of them have given me an "unknown" document definition in verification. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Collins

    CSarmento,

This is pretty easy to setup. If you tell me what version of FlexiCapture you are on, I can create a Quick Project for you.

Basically what you want to do is create a generic layout using FlexiLayout Studio. Just create all your fields (blocks) and create 1 simple character string. Also remember to set the page range. Now load up the DocDef and it should always match anything and they can key in the information.

Just remember, you are still get page count taken away from you so it might be nice to capture something at least. Also you have to use FlexiLayout for the generic. FixForm depends o the image of the file and if you don't know any of them, then you can't use it.
