Recognition of paper printed fixed form table on a mobile client

We have a mobile client app which needs an input and recognition solution for extracting table content from printed paper forms. The form variations are limited.

Is it possible to achieve that on the mobile client with Abbyy software(without sending the image to a server for processing)?

    Are you trying to accomplish in Recognition Server? I see that you posted in the RS forum. From what you're trying to do (without sending to a server), you might want to look at the ABBYY mobile capture product. i.e. Mobile SDK.

    Will it be feasible to do the same thing of FlexiCapture zone recognition on mobile device?

    If you want to do FlexiCapture, you would need to send the image to the FlexiCapture Server to get process. Since the one requirement is to have it done on the mobile device, you need to go to Mobile SDK. Using FlexiCapture or Recognition server, you would need to send the image to the Server. If you take away the requirement to send to server, then I would recommend FlexiCapture. It actually has a iOS app too. On Android, you would need to build that yourself.
