We are just setting up an ABBYY implementation and we are using invoice accelerator to extract data from invoices. In Canada we have a tax called GST. The letters GST can occur in several places as a company may include their GST number or a customer GST Except number on the invoice. Often when there are multiple GST values present the GST amount label will be 'GST 5%' or 'GST Total'. Is there any way to make the accelerator to try and match these keywords before it moves to the more generic 'GST' keyword.

I've played with the Invoice Accelerator for a bit but from what I remember, they were just pulling keywords from a DB. So it was 1 field with multiple values. i.e. like when you use the pipes. In that case, you really need to get FlexiLayout project for the Invoice Acc. You can then modify the logic to use "First Found" In this case, it will look for those element first before going onto the next.
