From the Project Set Up Station you can select Project-Export Project having selecting all batches you want to copy.
The problem is that this procedure takes backup only the Project with only the first Batch you select omitting all others selected. Is there any way to take an export of many Batches? Backup of the ABBYY DataBase is not considered a simple procedure (although it is recomended to save our data) and recover the Batches easily.
For example if a Project is used for exams of candidates we need to backup the batches of this exam so as to have a backup of both Project and relative batches of this exam. It would be a nice way to take backup of each exam. By this way we can localy re-open the Project that has been exported with only the batches that are releated for a specific exam.
...unless I do something wrong... please help
Thank you
Aris

Hello,
It is an expected behavior when only one selected batch (or opened batch) is exported to the new project. If your goal is to export all documents, you may place them in one batch and then export.
Thanks a lot for your immediate answer!

Thus, what it can be done, is to create a new Batch as a Test Batch for example, from Project Setup Station and copy- paste all documents into this new Batch from all working batches (of the same type) one by one.
Then, Export the Project selecting this new Batch and save it locally. After having exported you can delete the new batch from the Server to save space.
Thanks again (it may be useful to others...)
