Is it possible to detect if there are handwritten modifications on a page? For example if a customer made handwritten changes on a machine printed document.

There is no ready solution for this task but in for some situations a custom solution can be found.
For example, if you have a region for signature or some comments where you expect to have some handwritten text, you may create a region element in the flexi layout to catch this area and then you may decide if there is anything by counting BlacknessPercentage in this region.
Other example, if the handwritten text is made by colored pen on black-and-white document you may find the percent of colored pixels on the page and thus decide if there are any handwritten modifications.

Thanks for your reply I will try what you suggest- defining a pixel threshold.
Do you know if there is a way to only capture hadwritten text with a text region? Checking only the ICR option captures machine printed and handwritten text as far as I experienced.
