Is it possible to define a table which spans through several pages using the document definition editor without using a Flexilayout?

Please note that this table should have the same number of rows on all document copies.
The instruction is the following:
Create a multipage document section which includes images with all table parts.
Create a table field region on the first page and specify all columns.
Right-click on the table region and select the “Continue region…” item. Then draw a table region on the second, third, etc. pages.
