[Query] - Need a way to recognise a label then the data next to it

Hi,

I have over a thousand PDFs I need to go through, and I have access to Abbyy FlexiCapture, which our company uses. I was told that there is a way for set up a definition so it finds a certain word e.g. [Department No] and can look for the words/letters/number immediately to the right as the data.

If this is possibly could you please help me out with how I can do this. The Problem is this Department No is over over the place because the margins are sometimes narrow, normal and sometimes they are wide.

So I really need Abbyy to look for [Department No] in the document and get the numbers right next to it.

    I would recommend you using a FleixLayout. Basically you would use a search element type call LabelField . Put the value "Department No" int he search text and tell it to look to the right. See sample project here where I told it to look for "Invoice no"

    Sorry I don't check these forum too much. I do it occasionally when I'm bored from doing my regular work The file doesn't seem to be there anymore. Here is another project. You can download it from the following location:
