An error occurred while exporting the result: Not enough memory

Hi All.

At the moment I’m testing Recognition Server 4.0 performance.
During testing big files ocring I’m getting processing error: An error occurred while exporting the result: Not enough memory!, export profile #1.


Workflow is configured with provided xml provided from Abbyy. After first try I reduce number of processes on Processing Station and re-test without success.
Test VM env has 8GB Ram and min 6GB are free.

Any suggestions?

    I still have the same problem too, with 4GB RAM allocated, on Windows Server 2012. Some documents will dry all the RAM and the result will be the "not enough memory" error.
    Sometimes checking "processing for technical drawings" might help.

    Marcin,

    Depending on the image type and quality, some image could take more memory. Remember the product is still 32bit and still stuck on 32bit requirement. Memory could be actual ram or file temp size. i.e. If the temp file created for the image during recognition exceed 2GB, you will also get this out of memory error. The best option is to check with your local support region. They have test they can preform to see if the issue is really memory related, image quality, or over program problem.

    It's known issue. Maybe 4.0 R2 will fit it.

    R2 came out a couple weeks ago. You might want to check again and see if you still get the memory issue.

    Hi,
    We're sort of getting this same issue. A 30 MB file picked up by the scanning station becomes 300MB when it is sent to Recognition server.
    We want to preserve the initial quality of the document, so we just selected normal under the settings while sending to recognition server. The other options are best and custom and they both seem to produce a huge file. Even though the scanning station picks up a pdf file, while sending to the Recognition Server workflow, it converts them into TIFF files and this seems to increase the file size. We get the 'Not enough memory' error under the processing station column when sending the batch to the recognition server. Has there been any solution to this issue?
