Recognizing Questionaire like Table with handwritten symbol

This is the model of one type of scanned document we are getting. (Pls refer attachment) We have to capture the below from the
  • Questions starts with Measure # and Quotient #
  • options that are selected by handwritten symbols ( the symbols may be tic mark, X mark, etc.,)
  • text in the Logo (both left and right)
Since the questions are in tabular format, I am planning to use table element. But I am struck and having the below questions.

1.how to define columns. If I consider there are 2 columns, how to set a fixed column name and how to skip a Question that starts with Measure# or Quotient #?
2.Is there any possiblity of defining merged column that starts with Measure # or Quotient # ?
3.Any loop though mechanism from start of the row to last row ?
4. How to recognize the handwritten signs at the options cell ?
OR
5. Any other different way altogether ?

Experts please share your idea.

    Hello kawrthik,

    1)Most likely you will need to make a Repeating group (that can be shown as table in FlexiCapture later on) and capture this "table" using it. In attached sample I tried to use separators but that didn't work out well so I used static text(Options keyword)->character string (Options text string)->region (checkmark rect) dependency.
    2)Excluding the questions headers is possible as well using static text elements and Exclude function (or just don't capture them).
    4)There are Recognition options in field properties where you can choose the type of text (hand written\printed).

    I am trying to capture all rows below the line which starts with "Measure #" or "Quotient #" until it meets another set of "Measure #" or "Quotient #".

    Not much used region element/ Learning to use it though.

    It would be helpful if you people share a sample project since I am getting stuck with
    static text(Options keyword)->character string (Options text string)->region (checkmark rect)



    4)There are Recognition options in field properties where you can choose the type of text (hand written\printed).


    Please let me know where can I find the above options also.

    Now I am wondering how to convert each selected block of Region Element into a table. Please refer the image below.

    and also I need to recognize the handwritten symbol of the first column of the table.

    Hello,

    As I previously answered I made a Repeating group for that because it doesn't look like a table to me and captured it via mentioned Repeating group.
