Processing Station Empty Answered

Hi,

 

Technically not our first setup because a third party vendor setup our initial install and everything has been working just fine.  We currently use hot folders as a means of importing and exporting files.  The problem occurred when I tried to create a second project using different hot folders.  I set everything up as directed in terms of an image import profile but when I went to the processing server to link my new hot folders to the new project, there's nothing showing at all...not even our original project, which continues to work fine.  I can see tasks being passed to the processing stations, but the tree in the processing station monitor is blank.  Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?  Why can't I see or manipulate anything on the processing server?  I do have sufficient permissions granted through the Administration and Monitoring console.

    Could you please send us the screenshots which display what is wrong by your opinion with your system and some notes about how your FC complex Is configured.

    We're using FlexiCapture 11 distributed.  Before I joined the team a third party vendor setup what is currently our one and only project called "UPS".  It's fed by a hot folder and exports excel files to another folder after recognition.  Recently I wanted to create a second project that will be fed by a different hot folder but will export to a database instead.  We have everything working except the hot folder feed.  By following the instructions, after I create my image import profile for my new project, which points to the new hot folder, I should also have to enable hot folders on the processing server.  When I open the Processing Server Monitor however, the first attachment is what I see...a blank tree.  Should I not see the original UPS project here and would this not be where I create the links to my new project and it's corresponding folder?  I've also attached a screenshot of the Administration and Monitoring Console.  Let me know if you need any other specifics.

    Hello Mike,

    It seems that your Processing server monitor did not connect to your server. Please press the “Actions” button in the top-right corner > "Add server" button.

    Perfect.  That did the trick thank you.  My next question is this...

    We have a development environment on another server on which I'm expected to do "end to end" testing prior to moving things over to our production environment.  I can't see any of the test projects currently on the development server and I can't seem to add any more "servers", as that option is no longer available after I added the first one.  All of our Abbyy production components reside on server 64821 (which I can now see), my test projects reside on server 22865.  "End to end" testing would require that hot folders work for the test projects as well.  Is what I'm being asked to do possible?  Maybe I just need to add another "station"?  Sorry for all the questions I just don't want to start adding things when I'm not certain I know the potential effect.

    Hello,

    Please open the new Processing server monitor window and add there the new processing server as described above.
