Hi,
Screen shots are attached.
I am exporting many different tax forms to an XML file, each in its own Section, using FlexiLayout to define the forms.
Three of the forms have the same table name ("Amounts").
When the forms are assembled into a document definition the Fields view shows each table with its correct name (all three are "Amounts").
However, when viewed from the Field Mapping screen on the Export properties page, the table names have been made unique: "Amounts", "Amounts1" and "Amounts2", as if they were detected as duplicates and de-dupped.
So, I click the field name for the 3rd table ("Amounts2"), type in the name I want (Amounts") and hit enter.
And now the problem: Both subfields (the 2 columns of the table) are marked "Do not export".
Question:
How can I use the name table name, each in its own section (i.e. its own XML container element)?
Thx,
M.

Hello,
If you found out that built-in XML export does not work as expected and you see no possibilities to customize it as you need, you should better use custom XML export, as not all features of built-in export can be controlled.
You may find the information and code samples here:

Hi,
THANK YOU for responding.
You have very delicately hit the nail directly on its head.
I will try to respond as politely as you did.
As a new user of FC, I do not know what I do not know.
Because FC is so mature and comprehensive there may be GUI elements, or other means, to control its behavior, that I am not aware of yet.
OR
This particular behavior (i.e. marking the sub-elements as "Do Not Export") may be a bug.
OR
It may be operating as designed.
What is the proper method of getting feedback from ABBYY Development about this behavior?
I will be happy to supply whatever information will help ABBYY (e.g. a .mp4 "movie" of the behavior, more screen shots, etc).
Thank you,
M.
