We are evaluating FineReader OCR Pro desktop app for Mac and are getting inconsistent results that are concerning us because we believe we're doing everything right.
We are scanning a document we printed using Courier New font at 11 points, with 600 dpi scanning and the document appears perfectly scanned, with no skew or other problems. But the software is doing badly.
Should we be using another typeface? Is there a training option? Any recommendations? With a little time I could upload some screen captures or other files demonstrating the problem we are encountering. Thanks.

Sorry, FineReader goes out of scope of this forum (here we are dealing with such Data Capture products as FlexiCapture and Recognition Server).
