Hot Folder Access Denied errors, how should permissions be set?

I've set up a hot folder scenario, but when I place a file in the folder, it is not processed, and error messages appear in the monitoring console stating that "Access to FILEPATH was denied."

The permissions on the folder are set to allow full access to all abbyy groups, and also to the Network Service account.

If I grant full permissions to Everyone, then the process works, but that's not desirable. How should permissions be configured on the Processing folder to allow Abbyy software to access it but prevent access by random users?

Environment: Flexicapture 11 processing server etc installed on Server 2012 R2, folder on this server is the processing folder, with share permissions set for full access to everyone. Two processing stations enabled, one running Windows 7, the other running Windows 10.

    Hello,

Are your "ABBYY FlexiCapture 11 Processing Server" and "ABBYY FlexiCapture 11 Processing Station" services run under "Network Service"? If no, please check that this account also have the rights for the HotFolder. If the issue is not resolved this way, please contact your regional support

Both the processing server and processing station services are running under the Network Service account.

    Is this the recommended configuration?

    Hello,

By default, the Processing Server is installed on the same computer as the Application Server and is started under the Network Service user account.
