Script needed to check field against dataset

Hi

I have created a Dataset called OCR within that I have a column called "Microchip_number" I want to check that new documents that are imported in Flexicapture are unique and the microchip_number field value does not exist in the Dataset. Is there a simple script to achieve this?

    You may perform script checking by using this object

    Using scripts in ABBYY FlexiCapture > Scripts for customizing processing stages > Objects > IDataSet

    I have it working but it creates a warning if the microchip number is not found, not if the microchip is found.

    Having trouble determining the correct script for this.
