Can a dictionary be used to convert country names to country code for the Vendor data set?

Hi guys,

The vendor database we're looking up for the Vendor data set only has the countries by full name e.g. "AUSTRALIA", "NEWZEALAND", "CHINA", etc.  That doesn't work for the country code field in the Vendor data set of course, so is there a way I can use a dictionary or another approach here to convert the full names to the 2-digit country code required for the data set?

    Yes, you may convert your names to country codes by the script update.

    Hi Ekaterina,

    Thank you for your response.  I'm not quite clear on what you are meaning, do you mean that the Vendor data set needs to be converted to a script source and then the country names are converted on import of the vendor details?

     Hello,

    You may create the autocorrection script in the Country Field that will replace, for example "Australia" by "AU" etc
