Differentiate Handwritten and Typed text

Hi,

In few pdf files I have marked text which is handwritten and most of it is typed text.

Can please anyone suggest if there is a handwritten text found in the whole pdf is it possible to identify and assign it to a field in the flexilayout 11.

    Hello Lucky

    Unfortunately FLS can not determine handwritten texts. You may create element of Region with approximate borders and

     then create a Block based on this element. On the level of FlexiCapture Document Definition you may check the field

    and recognize it with ICR (hand-printed) setting into the Field properties.

    Thanks for the reply.

    My requirement is that the layout should dynamically search for Handwritten text if available on pdf.If not available it can be blank.Is there any other possible option to do this please suggest.

    Hello lucky

    For your purposes you may try to use an object collection element.

    Press "Raw Objects" button and try to find your region on in pre-recognize mode as a picture.

    Create an ObjectCollection element > properties > object collection inset > Clear all checkmark boxes except picture and set object size for the best recognition.
