How do FC Distributed know when any pdf file is failed in Importing a file from hotfolder?

Question 1 : When will Hot folder pdf file reading will fail in Flexicapture Distributed 12

Attached screenshot for my HotFolder 

Question 2 :  How do FC Distributed know when any pdf file is failed in Importing a file from hotfolder? Is there way notify to group of users via Workflow and so that they can look at it .  I am thinking of like Abbyy Admin group.

    Hello,

    The Question 1 cannot be answered due to lack of information. Are there any entries and error messages in the import Task Log?

    As to the Question 2, you may create a custom service that will monitor the Exceptions folder related to the Hot Folder import profile, and perform some actions if new files arrive.
