Extraction of PII data

I just had a quick question on the security aspect of ABBYY FlexiCapture 12.

When the software performs data extraction of electronic and hand written text, does it store the extracted data anywhere? We are concerned about how secure this tool will be when it comes to the extraction of PII data.

    Hello,

    All the information is stored in the Database used by the Application server. Information can be stored in the filesystem as well. The path to the local storage is specified on the server.
