we are using flexicapture for invoices 12 standalone.
is there any way to set up auto learning of field extraction ?

Hello,
The issue is that there is inconsistency in the FC12 UI Standalone version. There is the checkmark "Lock Training by Operators" but there is no option to have operators actually train something.
I will forward the question to the ABBYY HQ.
But most likely this functionality is available only in Distributed version.
Turns out, in the Standalone version, operators can train the batches manually. To do so Operator need to right click on the batch and choose Train. But for this the checkmark "Lock Training by Operators" must be enabled by Anministrator.
And the automatic learning feature is a part of the Distributed version of the program only.

In the distributed version the automatic learning is a stage in the workflow, so I think it falls under "complex batch routing schemes" here in the description here:
