On an invoice Total value is " ($45.18). It is detected as "45.18" in the field box. How to get the total value is displayed as "-45.18" ?

The Amount of money type of data used in Total field cannot be negative.

45.18 value is on bracket and i want to display it as -45.18 as its a negative value. So what changes i need to do?
Also sometimes there is a space between the values such as 45 18. How to make it as 45.18?

The amount is -$525.55 as you see in the screenshot. But the "-" sign is not detected. How to do this?
