Automated data/text Redaction

Hello,

What do you think, is there a possibility with a script to make automated text redaction of for example personal ID number or something similar data. If there is possibility for this please give me some advice or point me in the right direction.

Thanks

    Hello,

Yes, you may use Autocorrection script.

More details you may see here: https://help.abbyy.com/en-us/flexicapture/12/distributed_administrator/script_conversion

    Hello,

my question was about automated text redaction in FineReader Server 14. Is there available automated text redaction like automated indexing and document type recognition with scripting or text redaction is available only in Indexing station.

    Thank you forward,

    Hi Vasil,

Indeed, as Ekaterina wrote, such functionality is present in the ABBYY FlexiCapture 12.

Regarding ABBYY FineReader Server 14, could you please describe your scenario in more detail?

    Hi Oleksandr,

first of all thank you for your answer.

Well, i mean about metadata redaction with help of scripts like automating indexing. For example if we have id number (metadata) is possible to make redaction with scripts (automatically) on same principle like automating indexing. I know about the option (redaction mode) in Indexing station, so my question is: is there scripting object or way how to achieve automatic metadata redaction.

    Thank you forward,

    Best regards

    Hi Vasil,

Thank you for the details. Currently, ABBYY FineReader Server doesn't contain such functionality. But I'll discuss this feature request with the team.
