I am using CURL to send a document containing C++ code.
However, I do not know which language code (parameter: -l ) to use.
I tried CPP, C++, Java and so on, but nothing worked.

A special option for programming language recognition is not available in Cloud OCR SDK now, we recommend to try to use English language instead of it and create a feature request (with an image sample) on this forum if you will still need it.
Well, I tried the English setting and the result are ok, although not brilliant.
I believe that providing programming languages as recognition languages, as your standalone products already do, would be beneficial to your cloud service.
Another interesting feature would be the ability to train the cloud OCR on a customer-by-customer basis.
