Slow to receive responses - is server down?

Hi,

Our server normally gets very fast responses, but just recently - 11:35 AM Eastern 10/20/2014, it seems to be getting very slow responses. Is the ABBYY OCR server down?

    We're seeing 500 Internal Server Errors right now across all our applications. It seems that the servers are down/not working correctly. Tested around 18:00 CEST

    We already know about the issue.

    Our developers do their best to fix it as soon as possible, they work on it with the highest priority.

    Thanks - it now seems as if the service / server is back up and running.

    Dear all, Yes, the issue was fixed, currently the service may still be working slower than usual because of the long queue of tasks. In 1 – 1.5 hours the service will be working in a regular mode.

    We are still seeing lots of 500 errors, one every few seconds.

    Also, can you please publish a status page at some point in the future, its very hard to know what the issue is when Abbyy only informs us of issues via forum responses. Here is a nice example page for inspiration: http://status.twilio.com/

    Looks like the service is 100% down, any update would be appreciated Abbyy...

    Hi,

    We've also had a hell of a night with the Abbyy issues. It was working intermittently, and we got no feedback at all from Abbyy. What was the root cause for the problem? Was it the software or the infrastructure?

    Yesterday evening our developers have fixed the issue. According to your messages the server was down at night. At the moment we collect information about the reasons which caused the night issues. When we checked the server in the morning it was already processing tasks in a regular mode.

    We will do our best to prevent such issues in the future.

    We are also receiving no response, 100% down with the Server.

    Can I receive an update ASAP on when this will be fixed.

    Yep once again the system is down, this is getting old Abbyy...when are you going to take a serious effort and fix this?

    Yesterday we have posted a detailed report about the server slowdown which took place from October, 20 14.00 to 18.00 UTC, and from to October, 20 20.00 UTC to October, 21 07.00 UTC. Please find it in our blog.

    This morning there was one more slowdown. Our developers have already fixed it.
