Cloud Ocr regions recognition

Hi 

I have an pdf file want to recognize text fields,bar codes,check marks for that I am using processFileds methods using settings xml file.But I am facing difficulty in finding regions for retrieve data,can you please suggest how to retrieve text from that pdf file,
