I'm having trouble with FineReader. After the OCR of a file, which shouldn't be processed because its fully searchable, however after the process it's size raises from ~2.9MB to ~81MB. Sometimes I have a file, which size is totally decreased, even by 30%.
What configuration should I use to omit such issues?

I'm having similar issues, no decreases in size though. I consistent get significant, even problematic, size INCREASES.
I just worked on a PDF that already had OCR that was irregular and frequently inaccurate. The hardcopy book is 896 pages, the PDF of it was 17.4mb. I processed it through FR and the OCR is much better (though still inaccurate fairly often) but the resulting PDF is 178.2mb!
Some years back I had access to FR (for Mac) through work and I routinely reprocessed books and articles for better OCR and inevitably DECREASED the file sizes. Now I can't figure out how to do that. Everything Becomes GIGANTIC.
