Recognizing a checkmark FRE 12 linux

Is there any way to obtain with the ABBYY FineReader Engine 12 SKD Java the region where the checkmarks are placed in a document?

Then with that info about the regions use the scenario to recognizing checkmarks are unchecked or checked.
