Hello, I'm using ABBYY 11 and I've recently encountered a problem I haven't seen before. With language set to "Traditional Chinese and English," the Chinese characters are represented as empty blocks. Do I need to re-download a language OCR pack or something? I'd appreciate any guidance.

Hi, to diplay recognized text, FineReader uses fonts available in the system. Check if the corresponding font is properly installed. Also, check the font settings in FineReader itself: in the Options dialogue, there's an option that is used to define which fonts can be used to display recognized text. Try resetting it to default if adjusting it manually doesn't help.
