Non-rectangular images

Hi,

sometimes abbyy finereader recognizes non-rectangular images, when there is text within the image. I was able to create such an image area manually but i can't remember how. As i remember there as a rectangular image and i created a image area that oberlaps with the first image a little bit. Finereader then created one non-rectangular image. But now this doesn't work. I have 2 images that overlaps.

    Hi Alex,

In FineReader PDF 15, to modify an area into a non-rectangular one use "Draw picture area" tool with Alt key to cut a part of an area and Shift key to add a part to an area, or just the controls that appear at the border of an active area when you click on it:

The same applies to text areas as well.

    Best regards,

    Yuriy
