Internal Program Error: src/text/documentstream.cpp, 714

I received the above error running 15.2.6 (latest available version) on Monterey 12.5.1. I have already successfully processed a number of similar files. The program had completed the conversion but nothing was written to the output file.

ABBYY FineReader PDF Version 15.2.8. I've repeatedly encountered this problem (internal program error src/Text/DocumentStream.cpp 714) and another (abbyy finereader internal program error src/Text/DocumentStream.cpp 499). Moreover, the program repeatedly crashes--it's far less stable the older Finereader Pro for Mac. I'm hoping you can provide a permanent solution because right now I cannot effectively use the app! Thanks.
